Captivate signs 10-year agreements with 12 real estate companies

Captivate Network, a company that brings Internet content to elevators, inked 10-year deals with 12 major real estate companies to be the exclusive provider of programming for 500 high-rise office buildings. The real estate companies include Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, Boston Properties and Cornerstone Properties. Captivate will roll out its customized media screens in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and other major U.S. cities. Captivate's screens show content from partner Web sites, such as Boston.com, Chicago Tribune and The New York Times, with advertising on the bottom. Advertising and content can be targeted and customized to each building.
