Carat snares BMW European work

Published on .

BMW consolidated its $150 million European media assignment at Carat International, London. Carat's London office will lead a network responsible for BMW media in seven major regional markets: the U.K., Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Denmark. Neither BMW in Munich nor Carat in London would comment. Carat was the incumbent in France. In Germany, Mediaplus, the media buying and planning arm of Munich-based Serviceplan, was appointed to BMW's $62 million German business in June. Mediaplus has a cooperation agreement with Carat. The U.K. business was held by Zenith Media.
