PARAMUS, N.J.-Even Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is making leasing an important part of its marketing mix.

Newspaper ads that broke last week in The Wall Street Journal and in 10 major markets tout monthly payments of $1,699 for a Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and $1,499 for a Bentley Brooklands.

The ads, created in-house, will run for eight weeks.

The Silver Dawn normally sells for $149,900, and the Brooklands for $137,000.

Rolls-Royce sold 335 cars in the U.S. in 1994 and hopes to boost that total to about 430 units this year.
