CASIE, IAB meet on ad standards

Two sides in the debate over Internet ad standards met face to face for the first time in New York on Friday. The ad industry's Coalition for Advertising Supported Information & Entertainment and the Internet Advertising Bureau, a group representing sellers of Internet ad space, had been pursuing the issue separately. CASIE earlier this month issued a proposal calling for set ad banner sizes and positions, which IAB said its members might not approve.
