ValueVision Direct Marketing, Minneapolis, announced today acquisition of two Boston-based catalog direct marketing companies, Catalog Ventures and Mitchell & Webb, for a total purchase price of $7.1 million. The two companies publish five catalogs with a circulation of 24 million: Nature's Jewelry, Pyramid Collection, Serengeti, NorthStyle, and The Mind's Eye. They generate $30 million in combined sales revenues.
