The technology, known as an "embedded commercial unit," will first be used by MarketWatch advertiser AA.com, the Web site of American Airlines. Created by the Dallas-based Temerlin McClain unit of Interpublic Group of Cos., the spots will debut on MarketWatch prior to their launch on the airline's in-flight entertainment system.
