CBS merger team formed

Westinghouse Electric Corp. named a transition management team to handle the planned merger of Westinghouse and CBS. The team will be led by Michael Jordan, chairman-CEO of Westinghouse, and will include Bill Korn, chairman-CEO of Westinghouse Broadcasting Co. (Group W); Peter Lund, president of the CBS/Broadcast Group; and Leslie Moonves, president of CBS Entertainment and exec VP of the CBS/Broadcast Group; plus legal, financial and personnel executives from both companies. Mr. Jordan said the acquisition is expected to be completed in late 1995 or early 1996.
