CD-ROM good ad vehicle

A survey of 200 business purchasers of computer products by American Opinion Research for Electronic Marketing Systems, Morrisville, Pa., showed that marketing via CD-ROM is one of the most effective ways to reach the target group. Of those polled, 88% said they would request a CD-ROM catalog if one were offered free from a supplier and 92% said their company had one or more CD-ROM players available; 86% of those without CD-ROM player access expect their company to provide it during 1996.
