CEO Bingle will leave Impiric

Published on .

Jay Bingle, worldwide chairman and CEO of Impiric, the direct advertising agency owned by Young & Rubicam, is leaving the shop by year end, a spokesperson at Y&R confirmed. Mr. Bingle joined the agency in 1998, when it was Wunderman Cato Johnson. The spokesperson said Mr. Bingle's departure was not related to recent cost-cutting layoffs initiated by Y&R parent WPP Group, which saw approximately 100 Y&R employees lose their jobs.
