New CEO at WPP's CommonHealth

Thomas G. Ferguson, chairman of CommonHealth, Parsippany, N.J., the world's largest medical ad agency, and Theodore A. Maurer, vice chairman and chief operating officer, will turn their responsibilities over to Vice Chairman-Strategic Planning Gil Bashe, who will become CEO. Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Maurer will become chairmen emeriti at WPP Group's CommonHealth, with Mr. Ferguson remaining active and focusing on client relationships, and Mr. Maurer responsible for acquisitions, new business and staff development.
