Chase, PCCW launch online trading dot-com in Hong Kong

HONG KONG--A new equity trading dot-com in Hong Kong called2cube, owned by Chase JF and Pacific Century CyberWorks, has launched aprint and poster campaign and Web site, developed by Bates, Hong Kong.

Customers of 2cube can trade Hong Kong-listed securities through theInternet, mobile phones or touch-tone phones. Besides e-commercetransactions, 2cube's site offers real time stock quotes, news, analysisand access to Chase JF research.

The campaign is centered on trust, says Yvonne Tang, business directorof Bates, Hong Kong. Although 2cube is new player in Hong Kong'swell-established online trading market, "Chase JF and PCCW are well-knownplayers in the financial and telecommunications industries. Our advertisingcampaign thus leverages on the fame of these two partners."
