Chevrolet hockey pact targets youth

General Motors Corp.'s Chevrolet Division plans to pursue grass-roots youth events tied to its new sponsorship of USA Hockey through the year 2004. Chevrolet has an option to extend the sponsorship through 2008. USA Hockey sanctions nearly 30,000 youth leagues. Chevrolet already does local dealer tie-ins with its sponsorship of U.S. Soccer.
