Chevy ad touts award

Chevrolet will use its World Series sponsorship to break a commercial on Tuesday's Game 3 touting its Tahoe full-size sport-utility vehicle as Motor Trend's 1996 Truck of the Year. The General Motors Corp. division and agency Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich., also are planning newspaper, magazine, radio and outdoor advertising for the award. It's the first time the same brand won the truck honors back-to-back, with the Tahoe following the 1995 winner, the Chevrolet Blazer compact sport-utility.
