Chicago Merc puts stock in Cramer-Krasselt

Published on .

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange hired Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago as its agency of record to replace Lois/EJL, Chicago, which resigned in June. The futures exchange began a review in late May and Lois, which had held the account for 15 years, chose to withdraw. The review was handled in-house. A Merc spokesman would not reveal contenders or billings, but Competitive Media Reporting puts the exchange's spending at approximately $1 million in 1998.
