'Chicago Tribune' joins AdStar.com's classified ad portal

The Chicago Tribune, as part of an effort to help extend the newspaper's reach to new advertisers and generate additional classified ad revenue, is joining the Advertise123.com online classified ads network operated by AdStar.com. As part of the agreement, advertisers will be able to place classified ads in the print and online versions of the Chicago Tribune via Advertise123.com. The Tribune also will have a privately labeled site, accessible through chicago.tribune.com, which is powered by Advertise123.com.
