Chief named at Coty's Lancaster

Patrick Thomas was named president of Lancaster Group, Paris and New York, the selective cosmetics and fragrance division of Coty, and exec VP of Coty, effective April 2, from group managing director, Hermes International, Paris. At Lancaster, he succeeds Didier Foulon, killed in the July 1996 explosion of TWA Flight 800.
