Published on .

U.K. public-relations holding company Chime Communications is entering the U.S. by buying high-tech PR company LNS Communications, Cambridge, Mass., for $10 million plus a deferred payment of up to $6 million. Chime Chairman Tim Bell, known as Lord Bell after being knighted for his role in Margaret Thatcher's three successful campaigns for U.K. prime minister, said, "It is the first step in a U.S. strategy to replicate our success in the U.K."
