Cadillac Ad for Shanghai |
Marketer: General Motors Corp.
Agency: Leo Burnett, Shanghai
Resembling nothing so much as a Chinese version of Laura Croft, a shapely pilot in a haute couture flight suit maneuvers her advanced jet over the deserts to reconnoiter a pod of Cadillacs below. To her amazement, the vehicles compete with her own craft in sleek line and blistering speed. This is the latest GM ad for the China market.

Brand: Cingular N-Gage
Title: "Outburst -- Lizzie"

Marketer: Coors Brewing Co.
Brand: Coors Light
Agency: Foote Cone & Belding, Chicago
Exactly what is a "cold insulated railcar" anyway, and what does that have to do with how beer tastes? Not clear but it doesn't have to be. After all, this is just advertising. And, at least, next time you have a hankering for a good railroad beer, you'll know which brand to ask for.
Marketer: Lady Foot Locker
Brand: Adidas Collection
Agency: AKA Advertising, New York
This is a look at a hip, young urban female suffering a cinematic form of multiple personality disorder but sporting great shoes. The thematic hype of the spot, directed by Kathi Prosser of Chelsea Pictures, is 'A Shoe for Every You.' Now that's a tagline with a lot of sole.
