Chrysler slip

Published on .

Chrysler Corp.s third-quarter net earnings fell 46% to $354 million from $651 million for the third-quarter of 1994. Chrysler said the decline in earnings was due to lower minivan production volume, the launch of new minivans, higher incentives and unfavorable economic conditions in Mexico. Net earnings for the first nine months of 1995 were roughly $1.1 billion compared with $2.5 billion for the first nine months of 1994.
