CIA Medianetwork in global online media research deal with Planit Media

LONDON--Planit Media (www.planitmedia.com) is to supply CIA Medianetwork's 44 offices worldwide with its online media research and planning tool. The deal underlies the trend of media agencies preferringto use online resources instead of printed directories.

Fiona Kidd, research manager for CIA Medianetwork, says: "In the fast-moving media world, responsive and reliable media databases will be increasingly important for servicing national and international clients' needs. "

The Planit Media System allows users to search for magazines by country, consumer or business magazine sector, or even by circulation criteria.

The system includes a currency converter to allow advertising cost comparisons of magazines, an instant media pack request and the ability to print out full reports.
