Citibank halts plans for global campaign

After five months and three elaborate presentations by roster agencies, Citibank called off a review for a global branding campaign. Citibank executives couldn't be reached, but insiders said the banking company has decided not to proceed with a global campaign at this time; J. Walter Thompson USA; Foote, Cone & Belding; and Lowe & Partners/SMS will continue with existing assignments.
