Citroen plugs environmental benefits in multinational campaign

PARIS--French car marketer Citroen is positioning itsXsara diesel HDI model as the first car to fight air pollutionin a new TV campaign in France that's scheduled to run acrossseveral countries. Created by Euro RSCG Works, Paris, the filmshows supermodel Claudia Schiffer -- who has been contracted toappear in Citroen ads until 2001 -- walking in a magical worldwhere the snow has turned black. Dressed in white clothes, Ms.Schiffer symbolizes pureness, while around her children playin the black powder snow that looks like volcanic ashes.
