CKS forms new division

CKS Group combined its various recent agency acquisitions into a new company dubbed Global Communications Network. The company, comprising ad agency McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C.; design firm Donovan & Green; marketing consultancy Gormley & Partners; and high-tech agency Schell/Mullaney, will be headed by President Richard Villante. Mr. Villante was formerly president of Interpublic Group of Cos.' Allied Communications Group. Interpublic is an investor in CKS.
