Classified ads grow on Sweden's Internet

STOCKHOLM--A growing number of companies are placing classified ads on the Internet here, snatching business away from daily newspapers, according to local market research firm, Business Control.

Growth prospects for Sweden's Internet job search engines are buoyant, says Anders Waldenstrom, a senior market analyst at Business Control. Advertising revenues for search engine job sites may reach the $25 million mark by the end of the year, he says.
