Clodhoppers enter Canadian Wal-Marts

Published on .

WINNIPEG, Manitoba--Krave's Candy Co. of Winnipeg has redesigned its packaging and launched a major sampling program which is taking the candy to department stores across the country. Krave's plans to give out more than 5,000 pounds of its Clodhoppers candy through 145 Wal-Mart stores across Canada as part of its promotion of the confection which is a crunchy mix of graham wafer, cashews and white chocolate. Up until the package redesign, the candy was only sold in Winnipeg, but since the redesign, major national retailers have picked up the product for its shelves, including Eaton's, Safeway, Save-On-Foods and Shoppers Drug Mart.
