CMP buys McGraw-Hill tech titles

CMP Media, Manhasset, N.Y., said it bought the Information Technology & Communications Group of McGraw-Hill Cos., New York, for $28.6 million. The group includes the magazines BYTE, Data Communications, LAN Times and tele.com, and the test business NSTL (formerly National Software Testing Labs).
