CMP forms Custom Content Network

CMP Media Inc. on Tuesday announced the formation of a Custom Content Network, which will create individual and multisponsored Web sites for advertisers. Editorial content on the custom sites will be targeted at users interested in specific issues. The first site, called "Breaking the Speed Limit'', is sponsored by Rockwell International and features high-speed modem news. Other sites in the works are two mobile computing sites sponsored by Fujitsu and an intranet site with multiple sponsors.
