CMP's Arluck leaves to launch start-up

David Arluck, CMP Media's director of global Internet development, is leaving the company to launch WebStable, a company that provides Internet companies with management consulting and business development services. While with CMP, Arluck headed a team that forged strategic alliances and partnerships to increase CMPnet's traffic, revenue, visitors, advertisers and brand awareness. The partnerships included deals with America Online, AT&T Corp., BellSouth Corp., EarthWeb, The New York Times, Nasdaq and barnesandnoble.com.
