Conde Nast Publications will begin publishing Chinese-language editions of Vogue and GQ in Taiwan in October under a newly established subsidiary called Conde Nast China. To facilitate the process, Conde Nast has acquired Taiwan-based Interculture Communications and appointed Chin Tsung-Lui as general manager, reporting to Didier Gueirin, president of Conde Nast Asia Pacific. Elsewhere, the company also appointed Jose Manuel Sanchez Palomares as managing director of Conde Nast Spain, effective May 1. He was most recently commercial director of Prensa Espanol, publisher of newspapers ABC and Blanco y Nero.
