Dates are firming up for Conde Nast Sports for Women. The launch issue hits newsstands March 25, 1997 with the ad sales close date set for Jan. 29. The first of five issues to appear in 1997 will have an April/May cover date and could feature non-endemic marketers like sport utility and non-traditional automotive advertising if initial positive response from that category translates to page buys, according to Publisher Deanna Brown. A one-page color ad is $21,000.
