CNET DOWNGRADES REVENUE PROJECTIONS

A day after Yahoo! lowered its first-quarter revenue projections, CNET Networks revised its revenue forecasts for the first quarter of 2001.

CNET said it expects revenue for the quarter ended March 31 will be between $75 million and $80 million, compared to earlier estimates which placed revenue between $86 million and $92 million. It said it now expects a first-quarter loss of between $5 million and $12 million.
