Published on .

CNET: The Computer Network developed an international distribution strategy with Internet access, media and technology companies to launch CNET Briefs, co-branded Web sites that compile local interest content and services from CNET's network of sites. In April, the company will begin to roll out CNET Briefs in Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and southeast Asia; CNET is in negotiations with a number of companies in Europe. CNET Briefs will be comprised of daily news updates from News.com, selections of downloadable software from Download.com and Gamecenter.com and featured interviews from News.com's Newsmaker series.
