CNET tackles Monday Night Football

CNET is sponsoring ABC's Player of the Game portion of the "ABC Monday Night Football" telecast. The sponsorship launches today and will run each Monday through the football season. As part of the agreement, CNET will run two, 30-second spots developed by CNET's agency, Citron Haligman Bedecarre Euro RSCG, San Francisco, during each game. During the weekend, CNET wrapped its U.S. Open sponsorship. Both sponsorships are part of CNET's national event TV strategy, a spokeswoman said.
