Makes Up Almost 7% of Holding Company's Revenue

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Coca-Cola Co. replaced General Motors Corp. as Interpublic Group of Cos.' largest client in 2001, according to the company's statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In an annual report filed today, Interpublic said its top five clients now represent 14% of its revenues, led by Coca-Cola, which accounts for 6.7% of revenues.

GM was the top client in 2000, bringing in 7.3% of Interpublic's revenues, but the automaker sharply cut back its spending in 2001.
