Coca-Cola Co. is looking to launch an in-home water-filtration system. The Dasani-branded system would roll out in the next 12 to 24 months. The system, which consists of a faucet-mount and undercounter unit, would filter impurities from tap water while adding minerals. The Atlanta-based soft-drink marketer plans to make its money on the high-margin filter refills, not the hardware.
