Coca-Cola marketer Koonin takes Turner cable post

Coca-Cola Co. VP-Consumer Marketing Steve Koonin is leaving the beverage marketer to assume the newly created position of exec VP-general manager of Time Warner's Turner Network Television network, Atlanta. Mr. Koonin assumes responsibilities held by former TNT President Bradley Siegel, now president-general entertainment networks, overseeing Turner Broadcasting's TNT and TBS. No successor at Coca-Cola was immediately named. Coca-Cola recently announced it was cutting 40% of its Atlanta headquarters staff.
