Published on .

Cogit.com, San Francisco, and HotData, Austin, Texas, have entered into a cross-marketing alliance. The companies, which both provide information to dot-coms looking for information to better target consumers with marketing messages, will use a revenue-sharing model for the alliance. Cogit.com provides targeting services that use offline consumer data to predict online behavior. HotData collects customer information data from a variety of offline sources such as Dun & Bradstreet and Experian, and provides data to companies online.
