Columbia Sportswear is launching its first online ad campaign via Maxim Online (www.maximonline.com
), the Web arm of the men's lifestyle magazine. Maxim Online will stream video of two Columbia Sportswear commercials on its Web site through the end of the year. The spots are a continuation of Columbia Sportswear's latest "Mother Gert Boyle" campaign, focusing on the durability of Columbia Sportswear's products. Maxim Online converted the commercials into pop-up streaming video. Targeted banners and buttons support the Web spots. Phase2Media, New York, brokered the sponsorship.
