Comcast in $20 mil naming deal

Comcast Cable, Baltimore, announced a deal with the University of Maryland, College Park, in which the university's new $101 million basketball arena will be named Comcast Center and Comcast will serve as the exclusive provider of cable services to the university. Comcast will provide a $20 million gift to the university in exchange for naming rights. The Terrapins will play in the Comcast Center beginning in the 2002-2003 season.
