Comdex breaks branding campaign

Ziff-Davis' ZD Events, Needham, Mass., is launching a $5 million branding campaign for its mammoth Comdex computer trade show. The campaign, which will emphasize Comdex's relevance to the Internet and feature the tagline "Technology for the new e-conomy," kicks off with an ad tomorrow in The Wall Street Journal. The advertising, created in-house, also will run in magazines and on CNBC, CNN and the Weather Channel.
