Compaq ads go on ATMs

Compaq Computer Corp. is taking its new brand positioning as a "non-stop,'' 24x7 Internet company to an estimated 8,000 ATMs across the U.S. ATM users will see 15-to-20-second clips from DDB's "24x7xCompaq'' campaign at the "please wait'' and "welcome'' screens. Compaq agency DDB Worldwide, New York, made the ad buy through ATM Advertising, Baltimore.
