Compaq trims Grey from $300 mil review

Compaq Computer Corp. eliminated one of four agencies vying for its estimated $300 million global advertising account. People close to the company say Grey Advertising, New York and San Francisco, was cut after pitches made during the week of April 3. FCB Worldwide and DDB Worldwide, New York, and an unnamed contender return this week for a second round of presentations. A spokesman didn't return calls
