FOUR NOW COMPETING FOR SOFTWARE MAKERS ACCOUNT

(Aug. 23, 2001) -- J.D. Edwards, Denver, maker of enterprise software programs, has narrowed agencies competing for its $15 to $25 million account to four, according to sources.

Contenders include incumbent NeoBrands, Costa Mesa, Calif., Interpublic Group of Cos.' Deutsch Los Angeles, Doremus and D.W.P. Bates Technology Group.
