CompuServe launched a three-dimensional online mall for UK shoppers Tuesday called VRcade. VRcade was built by London-based Superscape VR, a company that produces a 3D Web browser called Viscape which it plans to distribute through CompuServe Interactive (CSi). Among the participating merchandisers are Tesco, Innovations, Virgin Megastore and Dixons. Stores with international delivery capability include Interflora, Waterstones, Shoppers Universe, Innovations and the Jaguar Collection. Purchases online are possible by major credit card.
