The review for CompuServe's advertising account is now a two-horse race, with DDB Needham, Chicago, emerging as the apparent frontrunner against Martin/Williams, Minneapolis. Bozell Worldwide and Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor, both New York, were eliminated. Agency executives indicated billings on the account could rise to more than $20 million, a significant boost over past spending. Separately, America Online, Vienna, Va., tapped Chiat/Day, New York, for a corporate branding assignment with estimated billings of $30 million.
