Computer category leads business pubs

Computers are the leading ad revenue category in the business-to-business press, according to the American Business Press and Competitive Media Reporting, which released the first wave of business-to-business revenue counts for January/February 1997. The Business Information Network report said computer components and access products garnered $64.9 million, a 34% share of the market. Computer software was the second-largest revenue producer, at $22.2 million, and a 21% share; the miscellaneous category was third, at $21.2 million, a 25% share.
