U.S. consumers bought a significant amount of computer products this holiday season, according to an online poll by PC Data. About 71% of those currently online purchased computer products as gifts, most frequently buying PC games and educational software. Prices were modest, the report said. In December 47.4% of respondents said they expect to spend under $100, 39.4% between $100 and $500, and 13% said they anticipate spending more than $500. While 75% of shoppers said they plan to buy their PC products from stores, nearly 40% said they plan to do some shopping for these products online.
