CoolSavings goes mobile, slates frequent dining program launch

CoolSavings formed a partnership with Geoworks Corp., a mobile data communications services provider, to send CoolSavings members savings offers to their cell phones and pagers. Members can now receive offers via the Internet as well as through their wireless devices. Separately, CoolSavings is partnering with iDine.com to launch an online frequent dining program aimed at the 10 million CoolSavings members and 4,800 participating iDine restaurants. The program will allow CoolSavings members to receive rebates or earn points every time they eat at any participating iDine restaurant.
