CoolSavings names president

CoolSavings, which specializes in building one-to-one customer relationships for online and offline clients through e-marketing strategies, named Matthew Moog, 30, to the new position of president and chief operating officer. Mr. Moog was previously exec VP-sales, marketing and product management, helping to increase CoolSavings' user base to more than 12 million registered members and its advertisers to 200 marketers since he joined the company in 1996. In his new post, Mr. Moog will manage day-to-day operations and continue to oversee the company's sales and marketing departments. For the last year, Chairman and CEO Steven Golden had also assumed the president's role.
