Correction: McCann's global OTC account win

Published on .

LONDON -- In the January 22, 1997, (Vol III No. 64) edition of the Daily World Wire we incorrectly reported that DDB handles the creative account for Boots' skincare brands. The agency resigned the E45 skincare account in the U.K. a couple of years ago.

By way of additional information, DDB also says the creative account it previously handled for the Strepsils cough/throat lozenges brand in 18 European countries and in Australia had 1996 billings of $13m. Yesterday Boots Healthcare International consolidated its $30m global creative advertising account for Strepsils with McCann- Erickson.
